Scott C. Taft, 42, of Dixon, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital in Dixon.
Scott was born November 17, 1969 in Dixon, the son of Frederick "David" and Darlene (Nuttall) Taft. He was an assembler at Allied Locke for 4 years.
Surviving are his parents, David and Darlene Taft of Dixon; sisters, Pamela Vivian of Dixon, Teresa (Carthel) Baker of Oregon, Melissa (Gary) Sanders of Dixon and Laura (Scott) Coblentz of Camargo; his grandmothers, Ada Brown of Dixon and Lena Taft of Dundee; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, a grandmother and a great nephew.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family gathering has been held. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory. McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
