Quintin E. Brown

Quintin E. Brown, age 84, of Sterling died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Sterling Pavilion Nursing Home.
Quintin was born March 24, 1928 in Mineral, IL the son of Fred and Bessie (Woltz) Brown. He married Elmina F. Bentley on April 23, 1949 in Smithfield, IL. Quintin worked as an equipment maintenance man at US Silica in Ottawa for 37 years and retired in 1996.
Survivors include his wife; Elmina of Sterling, two sons; Robert (Cynthia) Brown of Sterling, and Dr. Brian (Alisha) Brown of Hanabal, MO, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
Inurnment will be Friday, November 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Baughman Cemetery in Smithfield, IL with Reverend Cecilia Granadosin officiating. There will be a fellowship service immediately following at the Smithfield Red Brick School.
Arrangements were completed by McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Falls.
