PROPHETSTOWN – William W. Pritchard, age 76, died Monday, August 03, 2015 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.
William was born on July 31, 1939 in Morrison the son of W. Ward and Cora Louise (Teach) Pritchard. He married Connie Kimura on January 24, 1971 in San Diego, Calif. William owned and operated Bill's Musical Instrument Repair in Prophetstown for 22 years retiring in 2012. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Soka Gakkai International (S.G.I.-USA) in Chicago.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Pritchard of Prophetstown; two daughters, Theresa Dillabough of DeKalb and Kathy (Ron) Knutson of Downers Grove; two sons, John Barley of Tyngsboro, Mass. And W. Walter (Suzette) Pritchard of Machesney Park; one sister, Mary Goss of Argyle,Texas; two brothers, Jack (Louise) Pritchard of Prophetstown and Butch (Bethanee) Pritchard of Louisville, IL; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Friday August 7, 2015 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Prophetstown. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home, officiated by Cindy and Eric Carlson of SGI-USA. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
