Heart Emblem

CLINTON, IOWA – William Moog, Jr., age 56, died at his home in Clinton on Monday, June 22, 2020.
Billy was born on May 8, 1964 in Libertyville, IL the son of William and Christine (Jonsson) Moog, Sr.
After his parents' divorce, Billy's mother, Christine, would go on to remarry in 1987, to Larry Peters who saw Billy as a son.
He was known as a father, brother and grandpa to many and had a passion for his family. Billy's biggest accomplishments and proudest moments were his children and grandchildren. He taught his children how to work hard for what they want and that anyone can be family.
He was a natural builder and had a passion for fixing houses. Billy was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help with a project and was currently working on renovating a house with his significant other, Teresa.
Billy was always the life of the party. He enjoyed playing pool and dancing to his "oldies but goodies." He was always able to make anyone and everyone laugh, and just wanted everyone to have a good time.
He is sorely missed and survived by, his mother and step father, Christine and Larry Peters of Fulton; significant other, Teresa Kerley of Clinton, Iowa; seven sons, Zachary (Corinne) Moog of Bettendorf, Iowa, Nathan (Bobbysue) Moog of Langley, Va., Dakota Moog of Kilbourne, William Stewart of Pensacola, Fla., David (Angela) Wallace of Savanna, Devon (Lindsey) Wallace of Clinton, Iowa, James Kerley of DeKalb; four daughters, Randi Sue (Ryan) Hopkins of Sumter S.C., Cody (Adny) Rose of Fulton, Airen Milam and Allison Turley both of Sycamore; one brother, Jamie (Charity) Moog of Fulton; two sisters, Petra Tina (Jon) Mansfield of Buford, Ga. and Brandee (Steve) Engel of Glen Ellyn; eighteen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
