Wilda K. Dietschweiler, age 71 of Fulton, passed away peacefully Friday, August 16, 2013 at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehab in Clinton.

Wilda was born on June 28, 1942 in Bellingham, Wash to Willard and Verla (Wastwet) Kohler. Survivors include four sons, Lee (Jeannie) Haigwood of Albany, Illinois, Mark (Darcie) Haigwood of Boise, Idaho, Shawn (Pegeen) Haigwood of Iowa City, Iowa and Justin M. Smit (Millie) of Wheaton, Illinois; three sisters, Maxine, Ardeth, and Marsha; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Wilda lived her life as an artist poet and loved to create with her hands with painting, drawing, and quilting. She loved her boys and will be missed.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton, Illinois at 11:00 A.M. A gathering of friends and family will take place from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
