Therman Lee Gosa, Jr. 59, of Clinton, died Thursday, December 6th at Mercy Medical Center in Clinton.

He was born August 16, 1959 in Moline to Therman Sr. and Catherine (DeMink) Gosa. He married Sue LaFrantois in 2000.

He was a pipe insulator and a member of Heat and Insulators Union Local 81. He was a NASCAR fan particularly Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren especially attending and watching their sporting events when able and loved to tease and make them laugh.

Survivors include his wife, Sue, of Clinton; his mother, Catherine, of Rapid City; sons, Daniel (Samantha) Gosa of Davenport and Jonathan Gosa of San Diego, Calif.; step daughters, Jennifer Rodgers (Glenn Hammer) of Clinton and Kerri (Rich) Van Kampen, Jr. of Fulton; a sister, Carol (Larry) parker of Muscatine; a brother, David Gosa of Rapid City; grandchildren, Alex, Mackenzie, Mylie and Jordan; step grandchildren, Landon, Tanner, Alyza, Calvin, Kelsey and James.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are through the McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory in Fulton. To send condolences visit
