MORRISON – Theodore "Ted" Eugene Sulouff, age 87 of Morrison, died Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Resthave Home in Morrison.
Ted was born on March 6, 1932 in Sterling, the son of Harry and Leola (Wilson) Sulouff. He was confirmed in Broadway Methodist Church in Sterling, and married Betty Deets on August 5, 1956 in St. John's Lutheran Church in Sterling. Ted served in the Navy as boatswain mate in the Korean conflict aboard the U.S.S. Hornet aircraft carrier from 1951-1955. Ted worked as an electrician and was a member of the I.B.E.W. #364 since 1960. He was a member of New Life Lutheran Church, Sterling American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Dixon Elks Club.
Survivors include his wife Betty; one daughter, Lori (Michael) Muntean of Sterling; three sons, Tim Sulouff of Rock Falls, Corey Sulouff of Sterling, and Steven (Doreen) Sulouff of Woodstock, IL; one sister, Linda (Vernon) Long of Sterling; four grandchildren, Bobbi Muntean, Shaye Muntean, Dewey Sulouff, and Houston (Sloane) Sulouff; and three great-grandchildren, Cianna, Marlie, and Blayne.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Beverly Farwell.
Private family services will be held. Burial in Oak Knoll Memorial Park.
