Theoclete M. "Theo" Wolf, 90 died Tuesday April 30, 2019 at Morningside of Sterling.

She was born on September 14, 1928 in Metamora, IL the daughter of Henry and Lillian (Elbert) Waldschmidt. She married Donald E. Wolf on October 18, 1947 in Sterling. He died April 23, 1978. Theoclete was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society; a life member of TOPS Illinois Chapter 825; a member of Red Hats and she had served in the past as a pink lady with the CGH Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters: Leanne (Dennis) Blevins of Rock Falls and Sonia (Brad) Davis of Sterling; her three sons: Duane (Janet) Wolf of Rock Falls, Martin (Tamara) Wolf of Rock Falls and Randy (Donna) Wolf of Morrison; her daughter-in-law Sue Wolf of Harmon; her five sisters: Geraldine Wike of Sterling, Bernadine Coats of Sterling, Phyllis Conklin of Rock Falls, Betty (Hugh) Miller of Rock Falls and Gloria (Dave) Sproul of Sterling; her two brothers: Richard (Erless) Waldschmidt of Falls Church, VA and Henry (Marty) Waldschmidt of Sterling; 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five sons: Steven, Denny, Jerome, Patrick and Terry; one daughter Mary Beth; a son-in-law Keith Diehl; two grandchildren: Jessica Diehl and Alex Wolf; one great granddaughter Hope Driscoll; and three brothers: Harvey, Francis and Donald "Turk" Waldschmidt.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 2, 2019 from 5-7 PM with the Rosary being recited at 4:45 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday at 10 AM in St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls with the Reverend Richard M. Russo officiating. Burial will conclude at Calvary Cemetery in Sterling.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
