Sandra C. Toberman
Sandra C. Toberman, age 58, of Hillsboro, died Monday, February 3, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Sandra was born November 29, 1961 in Dixon the daughter of Hugh, Sr. and Joyce (Fulton) Flynn, She married Stan Toberman on July 14, 2000 in Dixon and was employed as a medical transcriptionist. Sandra enjoyed playing Scrabble and Words with Friends, collecting dolls and spending time with her husband watching their shows.
She is survived by her husband, Stan of Hillsboro; her mother, Joyce Flynn of Dixon; two sons, Robert Adams of Kewanee and Trevor Toberman of Hillsboro; one step daughter, Ashley (Artis) Harbin of Mattoon; three sisters, Amy (Lane) Wilcox, Erin (Gary) Howard and Maureen (Jeff Long) Flynn all of Dixon; five grandchildren; and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Sparrow.
She was preceded in death by her father; one daughter, Sharon Adams; and two brothers, Hugh Flynn, Jr. and one in infancy.
A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home, 505 First Avenue in Sterling. The memorial service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with The Very Reverend James R. Keenan of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sterling officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
