POLO – Ruth A. Borth, age 88, formerly of Milledgeville, died Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Polo Rehab and Health Center, Polo.
Ruth was born on August 19, 1929 in Milledgeville the daughter of John L. and Marie T. (Winkey) Schryver. She married William Borth on November 25, 1964 in Milledgeville. Ruth was employed as a Secretary with Central Quality in Polo. She was a member and church organist for Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milledgeville. Ruth was on the church council and taught Sunday school.
Survivors include her husband, William of Milledgeville; two daughters, Phyllis (Stephen) Jewell of Tampico and Susan Larke of Lyndon; one son, Mark (Bessie) Ahrens of St. Paul, Minn.; two brothers, Harold Schryver of Shannon and Merle (Carol Sue) Schryver of Emerson; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Larry Schryver and Ames Schryver; two sisters-in-law, Sandy and June Schryver.
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Monday, June 11, 2018 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Milledgeville. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milledgeville with Pastors Jamie Gallagher and William Welk co-officiating. Arrangements were completed by the McDonald Funeral Home in Milledgeville.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milledgeville.
