Heart Emblem

Milledgeville- Ruth A. Wolf, 63, of Milledgeville, died on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Good Samaritan Center in Mt. Carroll.

She was born on July 4, 1954 in Madison, Wisc. to Chester and Joyce (Fey) Strehlow. She married William Wolf on December 9, 1972 at Milledgeville Brethren Church in Milledgeville.

Ruth was a custodian with Milledgeville-Chadwick School System for 23 years. She had previously been employed with Franz Manufacturing for 10 years.

Ruth enjoyed the outdoors, flowers and working in her yard. She loved to decorate for any holiday, attending horse shows, her grandchildren's sporting events and camping with her husband Bill. In her leisure time she liked to sit by the pool. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her and she supported them every chance she had. She and Troy had a very special bond. The smiles and laughs when one would enter a room will always be remembered.

Surviving is her husband, William of Milledgeville; 2 daughters, Jennifer Kendall of Milledgeville and Billy Jo (Steven) Rahn of Chadwick; her grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan and Troy Kendall, Lane and Nathan Rahn; 2 sisters, Linda Folkers of Milledgeville and Debra Meyers of Rock Falls; 3 brothers, John (Connie) Strehlow of Champaign, Mike (Kaye) Strehlow of Milledgeville and Chester (Kristy) Strehlow of Forreston. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Joy Lynn and a brother Jerry.
