Ronald Hoffman, 80 of Sterling, died Saturday, January 07, 2017, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

Ronald was born on April 16, 1936 in Chicago, the son of Carl and Florence (Osterberger) Hoffman. He married Loretta Krysa on June 6, 1964. Ronald worked for Edelmann as a tool and dye maker for 35 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta; three sons, Mark (Becky) Hoffman of Dallas, TX, David (Rhonda) Hoffman of Loves Park, IL and Eric (Jane) Hoffman of St. Louis, MO; one sister, Donna Artese of Chicago, IL and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Kathy Hoffman.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Reverend James R. Keenan, Celebrant.
