Richard T. Horn, 84, of Morrison, died on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

He was born on December 16, 1933 in Ladora, Iowa to Frank and Martha (Timm) Horn. He married Sondra Stover on September 17, 1960 in Knoxville, Iowa.

Richard was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Morrison, and retired from Morrison Institute of Technology as an instructor.

Survivors include his wife, Sondra; his daughters, Jill (Jim) Kohlert, Judy (Gary) Lenn, Jenny (Phil) Heuser, Jeanette (Patrick) Pinion, and Jonna (Darin) Tobolski; his sons, Joel (Susan) Horn and Jeff (Sara) Horn; his sisters, Thelma Taylor, Lillian Buzzard, Sandra (Jim) Skinner and Susan Glick; his brothers, Roland Horn and Shirley Horn; 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Frank Jr. and Ervin Horn.

Visitation will be from 10-11 AM on Monday, April 2 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Morrison. The funeral will follow at 11 AM in the church with Reverend Michael Winkelman, pastor, officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Morrison American Legion following the services. A memorial has been established to Jo Davies Conservation Foundation in his memory. Arrangements are through the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls.
