Richard L. Van Ausdoll, age 57, died at his home Monday, March 1, 2021.

Richard was born on October 5, 1963 in Sterling the son of Richard D. "Pete" and Bonnie J. (Conley) Van Ausdoll. He married Teresa Mocklin on May 1, 1999 in Rock Falls. Richard was the Pastor at Cross Trail Family Church in Rock Falls. He was the President of the Sinnissippi Rod and Gun Club and founder of A.R.C. Firearms Training. Richard was a loving husband, father and was devoted to his church family.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Van Ausdoll of Rock Falls; his parents Richard "Pete" and Bonnie Van Ausdoll of Rock Falls; two sons, Daniel (Kristina) Van Ausdoll of Fort Campbell, Ky. and Sidney (Monique) White of Morrison; one sister, Tammy Sue (James) Marks of Rock Falls; five grandchildren; ten step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Cross Trail Family Church, 1119 10th Avenue in Rock Falls. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Kenneth "Wade" Miller officiating. Arrangements were completed by the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Cross Trail Family Church.
