Rena L. Mannon, age 85 of Prophetstown, died Tuesday, November 08, 2016 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Prophetstown.

Rena was born on July 27, 1931 in Chadwick, the daughter of Arthur M. and Pearl (Queckboerner) Lott, Sr. She married Paul V. Mannon on April 28, 1951; he preceded her in death on January 29, 2002. Rena was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church in Lyndon and enjoyed volunteering her time there. She was a past Chairman of the Lyndon Crow Festival and past election judge for many years. Rena was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bulls fan.

Surviving is her daughter, Paula Mannon of Plainfield, IL; her son-in-law, Roger Williams, Sr. of Prophetstown; three grandchildren, Tiffni Williams of Chicago, Roger Williams, Jr. of Prophetstown and Kili (Michael) Bielema of Dunlap, IL and three great grandchildren, Brady, Adi and Beclyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; daughter, Becky Williams; three sisters, Lillian Doty, Hope Carbaugh, Bea Wooldridge and four brothers, Windsor Lott, Willard Lott, Arthur Lott, Jr., Eugene Lott and two brothers in infancy, Terry and Larry.

Visitation will be Friday, November 11, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Prophetstown. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lyndon Cemetery.
