Raymond V. Lehman, 66 of Sterling died Wednesday March 7, 2018 at his home.

He was born on December 3, 1951 in Morrison, the son of Charles E. and Phoebe D. (Bannick) Lehman. He married Janice I. Wuebben on May 11, 1974 in Erie, IL. Mr. Lehman was employed for over 20 years as a correctional officer for the Illinois Department of Correction at the Dixon Prison. He was an active member of Harvest Time Bible Church. Mr. Lehman's family was of the utmost importance to him and enjoyed interacting with his children and grandchildren's in their activities. He especially enjoyed square dancing with his wife and was a member of Morrison Grand Squares. He was an outdoors man, having hunted and fished.
Survivors include his wife, Janice; two sons: Brian (Jill) Lehman of Sterling and Carl (Valerie) Lehman of Olathe, KS; his brother Dennis (Judy) Lehman; his 6 grandchildren: Charles, Carter, Elijah, Madeline, Willa and Ava.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Gary Lehman.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 10, 2018 from 12 – 1:30 PM at Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls. The funeral will follow at 1:30 PM with the Reverend Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will conclude at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.
