Randy J. Fullmer
Randy J. Fullmer, age 65, of Rock Falls, died Monday, May 27, 2019 at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
Randy was born June 15, 1953 in Sterling the son of Walter "Bud" and Darla (Fritz) Stigall. He graduated from Rock Falls High School in 1971 and attended SIU in Carbondale. He was employed as a truck driver for 25 years and had formerly worked as a carpenter installing office furnishings. Randy enjoyed "fishing" with Mike, Ron and Brad, running, reading and was a history buff.
Survivors include his mother, Darla Stigall of Rock Falls; two sons, Cody Filipczak of Eau Claire, Wis. and Davis (Jamie) Bain of Minneapolis, Minn.; three sisters, Rita (Rory) Smith of Sterling, Sandy Hudson and Trudy Fisher both of Rock Falls; four brothers, Rick (Nadine Butler) Fullmer of Grafton, Wis., Ronny Fullmer of Rock Falls, Rory (Ana) Fullmer of Rock Falls, and Kim (Barb) Stigall of Coon Rapids, Minn.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter "Bud" Stigall; one brother, Rodney Fullmer; one sister, Ronda Fullmer; one special niece, Connie Sue Fullmer; and two brothers-in-law, Laurence Fisher, Sr. and Forrest "Luke" Hudson.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Memorial services will be Friday at 11:30 AM at the funeral home with Reverend Jeremiah Thompson of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating.
A memorial has been established to the Hope House in Coralville, Iowa.
