Patricia A. Hovey, age 77 of Rock Falls, died on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Rock River Hospice and Home after an extended illness.

Patricia was born on January 7, 1941 in Chicago, the daughter of Paul J. and Alice P. (Norville) Razdik. She graduated from Lourdes High School in Chicago. Patricia married Culver J. Hovey on November 21, 1981 in Sterling. She worked at General Electric in Morrison in data processing and was also an Avon distributor. She was the originator of the Pheonix Divorce and Separated Group at St. Mary's in Sterling. Patricia enjoyed crafts, camping, fishing and traveling, especially to Arizona in the winter.

She is survived by her husband, Culver; one daughter, Elizabeth (Paul) Barry of Oxford, England; one son, Wayne (Lori) Walker of Rock Falls; two stepsons, Daniel (Caryn) Hovey of Polo and Randy (Patty) Hovey of Galesburg; ten grandchildren, Jessica Anzelmo, Nevin Walker, Amanda O'Malley, Shannon O'Malley, Mariel Hovey, DJ Hovey, Jason Hovey, Tracey Connour, Krista Swearingen and Nicholas Swearingen; and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Florine.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Private funeral service will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling.
