Pamela S. "Pam" Charleston, 63 of Rock Falls died Friday March 9, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on February 20, 1955 in Dixon, the daughter of Elmer and Frances (Carry) Shoemaker. Pam was a 1974 graduate of Rock Falls High School where she had been active in the Marching Rockets. She married Ray L. Charleston on February 16, 1975 in Rock Falls. Pam was employed for over 25 years at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. She was a member of One Eighty Church and a past member of the J.C.A's. Pam was a breast cancer survivor and had participated in the Touchdown for Ta Ta's and Team Underwires. She was an avid bowler. Pam cherished and enjoyed the time she spent with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Ray of 43 years; her children, Ray L. Charleston Jr of Rock Falls and twins, Robert (Julie) Charleston of Rock Falls and Rachel (Jeremy) Billeb of Sterling; her sisters: Linda Ricketts of Rock Falls and Diane (Rob) Kalal of Orland Park, IL; two grandchildren: Skila and Gavin Charleston; and one niece, three nephews, four great nieces and two great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 aunts; 4 uncles; and a brother-in-law Tim Ricketts.

A gathering of friends and family will take place on Saturday March 17, 2018 from 10 – 11:45 AM and the memorial service following at 12 Noon at Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, with the Reverend Paul Sheley officiating.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her memory.
