Norma Jean Green, 83 formerly of Sycamore, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Prophetstown.

Norma was born on August 16, 1935, in Cooter, MO, the daughter of Claude and Jessie Mae (Gibbs) Rhoads. She married Sherman Green. He preceded her in death on September 11, 1984. Norma worked at Ideal Industries in Sycamore for many years.

Survivors include five children, Sharon (David) Bozeman of Belvedere, IL, Ramona (Jerry) Taylor of Loves Park, IL, Byron (Cathy) Yeiser of TX, Jessie Freeman of Sterling, IL and Susan McLain of Cary, IL; fifteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three siblings, Wilma Olague, Delma Henderson and Jesse Rhoads.

Cremation rites have been accorded with the McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory in Prophetstown.
