Nancy E. Cox
Nancy E. Cox, age 62, of Sterling, died Friday, October 6, 2017 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
Nancy was born November 21, 1954 in Rock Island the daughter of John and Iva (Johnson) Lundeen. She married Andy Cox on October 16, 1982 in Rock Falls. She was employed at National Manufacturing for 34 years and was most recently employed at Larson's. Nancy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending lots of time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Andy of Sterling; two daughters, Carrie (Brad Stroup) Cox of Sterling and Shelly (Joe) Kapp of Byron; two sisters, Patty (Jeff) McKenna of Rock Falls and Sue (Eun Jung) Lundeen of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Kaidence Stroup and Karson Stroup.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Donna Lundeen.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 5 – 7 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Inurnment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling at a later date.
A memorial has been established.
