Myron L. Van Buskirk, 61, of Albany, died Monday, July 4, 2016 at his home.
Born April 29, 1955 in Savanna, he was a son of Robert and Virginia (Thompson) Van Buskirk. He married Marlene Rose on January 11, 1986 in Clinton, Iowa.
Myron worked for ADM/EMS for 12 years as a Tool Crib Attendant and was a US Navy veteran. He enjoyed doing auto body work and painting cars, working in his yard and being outdoors and hunting.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Marlene, of Albany; three daughters, Dawn (Aaron) McQuistion, of Fulton, Amber (Tim) Erickson, of Prophetstown and Erica Wiersema, of Albany; a sister, Beth Zadridil, of Wisconsin; and 9 grandchildren, Kristina, Emme, Connor, Jaylyn, Jaxen, Paige, Hayden, Brennan and Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday at McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton. The funeral will be at 10:30 AM Friday at the funeral home with Mr. Bob Douglas, officiating. Full military honors will conclude the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
