Meg Pew, 81 of Dixon died Saturday August 11, 2018 at Clarrisa Cook Hospice in Bettendorf, IA.

She was born on August 17, 1936 in Chicago, the daughter of Clayton and Patricia (Nolan) McCombs. She was employed at Edelman's in Dixon for several years. She was an active member of St Anne Catholic Church in Dixon where she sang in the choir and was a Catechist. She had served as past president of the A.B.W.A and a past member of the Eagles Club and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are her children: Dr. PJ (Lori) Lenhard of Honor, MI, Art (Kathy) Lenhard Jr of Daytona, FL, Michelle (George) Gonzalez of Prophetstown, Timothy (Wanda) Pew of St. Mary, GA and Maggie (Jason) Quaranto of Naperville, IL; one sister Carol (Bernie) Rice of Burlington, WI; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Patricia Lentz; two brothers: Ronald and John McCombs; and her grandson Clayton Russell.

A gathering of friends and family will take place on Tuesday August 14, 2018 from 10 – 11 AM at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM in the church with the Reverend Antoni Kretowicz officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
