Marvin E. Younger, 91, of Sterling, died Saturday, April 9, 2022 at his home.

Marvin was born on January 20, 1931 in Stuttgart, AR, the son of Clinton and Ruth (Powell) Younger. He was a United States Marine Corp Veteran. He married B. Darlene Underhile on April 29, 1954 in Dixon. She preceded him in death on May 21, 2011. Marvin was the owner and operator of K's Korner Trading Post from 1972 to 2005.

Survivors include three daughters, Connie (Rick) Mathes of Charlotte, NC, Lori Younger of Rock Falls, Brandy (Tommy Knutson) Younger of Sterling; two sons, Andrew (Marion) Younger Sr. of Sterling, Cole Younger of Sterling; one sister, Ruth Heflebower of Sterling; one brother, Eugene Younger of AR; 13 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Marvin Younger Jr.; two brothers, Clinton Younger Jr. and Lonnie Younger; one grandson, Andrew Younger Jr.; one great granddaughter, Angelina Rose Lynn Shroyer.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 9:30AM-11AM at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Funeral Service will follow at 11AM at the funeral home with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.
