Martha A. Barber, 71, of Sterling, died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at her home.

Born August 9, 1945 in Hondo, Texas she was a daughter of Juan Jose and Ignicia (Rios) Sandoval. She married Robert Barber on June 1, 1968 in Powell, Wyoming. She worked at Farm n Fleet for 25 years.

Surviving are her husband, Robert of Sterling; a daughter Ena Stellrecht of Loveland, Colo.; a son, Jay Barber of Loveland, Colo.; 2 sisters, Peggy Sandoval of Sterling and Rita S. Malone of Powell, Wyoming; a brother, Juan Jose Sandoval, Jr. of Carson City, Nevada; and a granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
