Margaret Rausch, age 91 of Sterling, died Friday, August 4, 2017 at Regency Care of Sterling.

Margaret was born on September 23, 1925 in Minnesota, the daughter of Gasper and Dorthea (Miller) Wolf. She married Roy Rausch, Jr. on January 1, 1946. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1970. Margaret was a homemaker, an avid bowler and a member of Messiah Ev. Lutheran Church in Sterling.

Survivors include, three daughters, Teresa (Carlos) Ortiz of Sterling, Linda (James) Pack of Sterling and Barbara (Jonathan) Koch of Dixon; three sons, Richard (Gladys) Rausch of Sterling, Alan (Joyce) Rausch of Georgia and Larry (Susan) Rausch of New York; ten siblings, Liz Maland, Jasper Wolf, Alice Maland, Donald Wolf, Shirley Maland, Daniel Wolf, Betty Maland, James Wolf, Calvin Wolf and Howard Wolf; nine grandchildren, Sherri Anne Sherrick, Richard Rausch II, Christopher Rausch, Ryan David Rausch, Hope Beall, Joy Dorsey, Jaden Pack, Dayton Geesey and Daytona Geesey and nineteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Walter and Roger Wolf; one sister, Dorothy Smith; one grandchild and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 A.M at Messiah Ev. Lutheran Church in Sterling. Funeral service will follow at 10:30 A.M. at the church with Pastor Kirk Neugebauer officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regency Care Activity Department in Sterling.
