Lola I. (Nelson) Williamson, 80, of Rock Falls died Sunday, May 19, 2019 at CGH Medical Center.

Lola was born July 2, 1938 in Lanesboro, MN. the daughter of Willie and Bertha (Gates) Nelson. She married Kenneth Williamson on June 16, 1962.
Lola graduated from the Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing in Rochester Minnesota, and became a registered nurse. Lola was proud of her nursing career. She touched many lives in different capacities of her profession, ending a fulfilling career at CGH Medical Center.

Lola loved spending time with her family and friends, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy. She was an avid reader, enjoyed shopping, and was always on the-go. Her friends were a big part of her life. They spent lots of time coffeeing, watching movies, and attending RFHS sporting events.

Survivors include her two daughters, Andrea (Brad) Leuschke of Rock Falls, Il and Stephanie (Joe) Prisco of Rochester, MN; five grandsons, Patric (Erin) Leuschke, Matt (Jessica) Leuschke, Andrew (Sydney) Leuschke, Alex Prisco, Sam Prisco; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Mindrum and Ruth (Jim) Ostrem both of Lanesboro, MN; a sister-in-law, Janice Nelson and a brother-in-law Johnny Muzik.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant grandson, three brothers James Nelson, Robert Nelson, and David Nelson; three sisters Jean Bremseth, Margaret Nelson, and Lois Muzik and grandson Mitchel.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 23, 2019 from 4-6 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls. The funeral will follow on Friday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will conclude at Coloma Twp Cemetery.
