STERLING – Lois E. Miles, age 91, died at home Monday, April 24, 2017.
Lois was born on January 3, 1926 in Faribault, Minn. the daughter of James and Bertha (Burge) Marsh. She married Clyde Miles on December 24, 1944 in Olympia, Wash. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2002. Lois was employed with Microgear in Prophetstown.
Survivors include, three daughters, Bonnie Miles, Barbara (Larry) Stone and Clydye Miles all of Lyndon; two sons, Jerry (Sharon) Miles of Jacks Creek, Tenn. and Jeffrey (Karen) Miles of Lyndon; two sisters, Frances Dersham of Erie and Phyllis Stern of Sterling; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters, 2 brothers; 1 grandson.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church in Lyndon. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 AM at the church with Reverend Alan Jahn officiating.
A memorial has been established.
