Dove Emblem

Lena Willman was born September 27, 1926. She died at home April 28, 2019. She is survived by her children, Daniel (Kathy) Willman, Denise Church and Denette Kolb (Dan). She has 13 wonderful grandchildren, Dan Jr., Josh, Suzy, Angie, Andrea, Alyse, Shayla, Jeremy, Brandi, Cory, Carly, Pam, and Penny.
She was a very loving mother, patient and fun. She loved to cook and taught us all how NOT to measure ingredients. She loved gardening and planting May flowers. She was an avid bingo player and helper for years. She also loved to dance. My dad (Jiggs) and mom won a dance contest at Whiteside Co. Fair years ago. She was a wonderful nurturer and taught all her grandchildren her traits. She bowled for many years and in turn so did her children.
She worked numerous jobs, some of which taught her to be witty and funny, which of course some of us inherited.
We all thank her for what she taught us. If you knew her you loved her. She will be missed and remembered.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
