Larry E. Gann, age 72, formerly of Mt. Morris, died Tuesday April 9, 2013 at Big Meadow Nursing Home in Savanna.

Larry was born on October 11, 1940 in Freeport the son of Walter and Lota (Osborne) Gann. He married Esther Wiersema on April 29, 1974 in Rockford. Larry was employed with the Belvidere Chrysler Assembly Plant for 30 years retiring in 1995.

Surviving is his wife, Esther of Fulton; one daughter, Margaret (Kerry) Wiersema of Clinton, Iowa; two sisters, Judy (Max) Snook of Polo and Deborah (David) Flannery of Rock Falls; one brother, Steven Gann of Mt. Morris; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday April 13, 2013 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Rick Koch of the Dutchtown Church of the Brethren, Milledgeville officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 10-11:00 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Dutchtown Church of the Brethren and Big Meadows Nursing Home.
