Keith A. Tompkins, age 62, of Rock Falls, died Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling.
Keith was born September 3, 1959 in Sterling, the son of Lyle "Beaver" and Ardis (Holbrook) Tompkins. He married Tammy Skinner on August 20, 1982 in Rock Falls. Many years ago, Keith was a Union Laborer and currently owned and operated Keith's Restaurant Equipment and was co-owner of Food Express. He was a member of OABA, NICA, the Masonic Lodge and the Schreiners.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Tompkins of Rock Falls; three sons, Joshua (Kayla) Tompkins of Sterling, Justin (Jennifer) Tompkins of Sterling and Jason Tompkins of Rock Falls; two sisters, Linda (Robert) Rhode of Dothan, AL and Camilla (Weldon) Otten of Aledo; one brother, Kevin (Pat) Tompkins of Nashville, TN; ten grandchildren, Hannah, Brittany, Hayleigh, Carson, Jase, Payton, Wyatt, Emmalyn, Madison and Kaiden; and three great grandchildren, Oakley, Brenleigh and Recklynn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Amber Washam; and one brother, Gary Tompkins.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. The funeral will be Thursday, March 24 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Scott Porter of Abiding Word Church officiating. Burial will be at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls.
A memorial has been established.
