STERLING – Katelynn D. Zaagman, age 26, formerly of Prophetstown died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Exceptional Care Center in Sterling.
Katelynn was born on December 2, 1992 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of James and Candace (Stichter) Zaagman. She was a member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Fulton.
Survivors include her parents, James and Candace Zaagman of Prophetstown; one sister, Keirra (Nick) Crocker of Prophetstown; three brothers, Jason (Amber) Zaagman of Erie, Kody Zaagman of Indianapolis, Ind. and Kolton (Calya Crane) Zaagman of Prophetstown; grandmothers, Carol Stichter and Leona Barry; nieces Kenley and Ella Crocker; nephews, Caleb and Wyatt Zaagman.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, William and Thelma Zaagman; grandfathers, Ronald Stichter and Clifford Barry; one aunt, Debra VanDerLeest.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison. Arrangements were completed by the McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Exceptional Care Parents Group.
