Joshua C. Mellott, age 27, of Rockford, formerly of Amboy, died Monday, October 23, 2017, at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford.
Joshua was born February 2, 1990 in Mendota. He was the son of Sherrie Henrichs and Ralph Beauchamp, Sr.
Josh graduated from Amboy high school and went to Truman college in Chicago where he majored in art. He enjoyed spending time with family, painting, listening to music, and swimming with his little brother Ralphie.
Survivors include his mother, Sherrie (his dad Carl) Henrichs of Amboy; his father, Ralph Beauchamp, Sr. of Dixon; his grandfather, Dale (Marilyn) Mellott of LaSalle; his grandma Lori Murphy of Dixon; his grandpa Walter Kant of Amboy; his sister, Jessie Henrichs of Amboy; his brother, Ralphie Beauchamp, Jr. of Dixon and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Nana, Janet Kant; one aunt, Cindy(Mellott) Davis; his Bubba Ed Berge; his grandma Grace and grandpa John Henrichs; his granny Virgina and grandpa Curtis Beauchamp, Sr. and his uncle Charles Beauchamp.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Roger Carlson of Berean Baptist Church in Rock Falls officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
