Jacqueline "Jackie" Harms, age 77 of Dixon, died Monday, July 24, 2017 at Regency Care of Sterling.

Jackie was born on August 11, 1939 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Geraldine (Meusing) Huenger. She is a United States Air Force Veteran. She married Richard R. Harms on January 20, 1978 in Sterling. She was a dietary supervisor at Coventry Living Center (now Regency Care) before retirement. Jackie enjoyed fishing, gambling, cooking and baking. She loved her animals and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Dick; six children, Jeri (Mark) Ellis of Sterling, Thomas Weidel of Round Grove, Dianne (Ken) Muehlfelder of Freeport, Judy Weidel of Rock Falls, Raymond (Kelly) Weidel of Sterling and Carl (Jill) Weidel of Prophetstown; one brother, John (Marcia) Huenger of Ridott, IL; seventeen grandchildren, Jason Hollis, Joshua Hollis, Amanda Ellis, Steve Weidel, Lee Weidel, Corrie Weidel, Cyle Roberts, Cathy Roberts, Jennifer Picha, Ben Weidel, Melissa Cain, Zach Oldfield, James Weidel, Sean Weidel, Max Weidel, Simon Weidel and Mya Weidel; and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Kathy Willis and two sisters, Vickie Cox and Billie Loos.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, 1002 12th Avenue. Funeral service will be at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Military Honors to follow.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
