STERLING – Francisa Brainerd, 74, of Sterling, died on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. Francisca was born on August 4, 1945 in Hidalgo County, TX, the daughter of Pedro and Romona (Olivarez) Guerra. She married Donald Brainerd on June 17, 1995. She worked in housekeeping at Exceptional Care for many years, and attended City of God Church, as well as Twin City Nazarene.
