Ezequiel "Zeke" Rodriguez, 62, of Rockford, died on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in Florida. Jose "Joe" Rodriguez, 60, of Chicago, died on Friday, January 12, 2018 at his residence. Zeke was born on November 16, 1954 in Sterling. Joe was born on May 1, 1957 in Sterling. Their parents were Daniel and Carmen (Cortez) Rodriguez.

Zeke was employed with Singer in Rockford until his retirement. He enjoyed shopping at Good Will and the Salvation Army Store and was a great cook and baker. Zeke loved listening to his Bill Gaither CD's.

Joe was an electronics technician and enjoyed electronics and his pet birds. He was an avid Chicago White Sox fan.

They are survived by their siblings, Sara (Daniel) Rivera of Sterling, Daniel Rodriguez, Jr. of Chicago, Isaias (Ann) Rodriguez, of Sterling, Eliseo (Lisa) Rodriguez of New Jersey, Saul (Lisa) Rodriguez of Rock Falls, Elizabeth (Michael) Knapp of Sterling, Timothy Rodriguez of Boston, Mass., Nathan Rodriguez of Chicago and Gabriel (Teresa) Rodriguez of El Paso, Texas; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

They were preceded in death by their parents, and a brother Thomas.

Gathering of family and friends will be from 12 PM – 2 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls. Celebration of their lives will be at 2 PM Saturday, January 27 at the church with Pastor Daniel Rivera and Pastor Larry Jones, co-officiating. A memorial has been established to Iglesia Bautista Hispana in Rock Falls. Arrangements are through McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Falls.
