Eugene G. Frump, 81 of Rock Falls died Thursday July 25, 2019 at his home.

He was born on October 22, 1937 in Paxton, IL the son of Gale E. and Bernice L. (Snitchler) Frump. He served in the US Airforce. He married Barbara J. Argraves on May, 18, 1957 in Sterling. She died April 29, 2012. Gene began his working career at Northwestern Steel and Wire and other small factories in the area. He then worked as a letter carrier for the Rock Falls Post Office for 30 years. He later worked at the Sterling-Rock Falls Clinic. Gene severed as a volunteer fireman for the Rock Falls Fire Department for many years.

Survivors include his daughters: Jeani Boyungs and Gayle (Brent) Wright both of Rock Falls; two sons: Douglas (Diane) Frump of Union Grove, WI and Andrew (Betty) Frump of Colby, KS; his sister Patricia Carmichael of Friendship, WI; his brother Jerry Frump of Rock Falls; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his daughter Sandra Rozhon; and his sisters: Phyllis Anderson and Nancy Fenton.

Visitation will be Monday July 29, 2019 from 5-7 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls. The funeral will follow on Tuesday at 10 AM at the funeral home, with the Reverend Terri Porter officiating. Burial with military honors will conclude at Oak Knoll Memorial Park.
