STERLING – Emilio Celestino Jr., 64, of Sterling, IL died on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, IL. Emilio was born in Sterling on October 7, 1955, the son of Emilio and Elsie (Echartea) Celestino Sr. He was employed at Raynor for many years. Emilio was an extremely hard worker, with a heart of gold. He enjoyed working out and loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his mother, Elsie Echartea of Sterling; two daughters, Marina (Terry) Celestino, and Vanessa (Brandon) Ward both of Sterling; three sisters, Cynthia (Terry) Morgan of Albany, Elena (Rey) Montiel, and Martha (Justin) Celestino both of Sterling; two brothers, Rudy (Paula) Celestino, and Sabas (Jennifer) Celestino both of Sterling; and nine grandchildren.

Emilio was preceded in death by his father Emilio Sr; and infant son Emilio Celestino III.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 -3:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at McDonald Funeral Home, Sterling. Emilio loved the Chicago Bulls and the family welcomes guests to wear Bulls attire.
