Elizabeth "Betty" M. Hall, 90 of Sterling died Thursday July 11, 2019 at Regency Care of Sterling.

She was born on November 10, 1928 in Sterling, the daughter of Ira H. and Matilda (Fehrenbacher) Martin. She married Lyle G. Hall on December 10, 1955 in Sterling. He died June 25, 1984. Elizabeth had been employed at the former Midwest Home Health Care in Sterling. Later she served for 25 years as the Sterling Township Clerk. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sterling.

Survivors include her children: Michael J. (Vonni) Hall and Thomas M. (Grace) Hall both of Sterling, Peter G. (Linda) Hall of Crystal lake and Dr. Teresa L. "Teri" Hall of Wichita, KS; seven grandchildren: Tyson Hall and Eric (Reyna) Hall of both of Chicago, Kelsey Hall of Verona, WI, Brittany Hall of Crystal Lake, IL, Lindsey Hall of Phoenix, AZ , Zachary (Amanda) Hall and Molly Hall both of Crystal Lake, IL; two great grandchildren: Theo and Naomi Hall of Chicago, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and her sister Mary Lou Martin.

A gathering of friends and family will take place on Tuesday July 16, 2019 from 9 – 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sterling. Followed by the Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial will conclude at Riverside Cemetery. Arrangements by McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory.
