Donald J. Jackley, 58, of Sterling, died on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Rock River Hospice and Home.

He was born on October 9, 1959 in Sterling to Melvin and Shirley (Argraves) Jackley. He married Melinda Burge on August 12, 1977 in Morrison. He later married Robin Butler on August 11, 1984 in Polo.

Donald was a graduate of Sterling High School in 1977, later attending Sauk Valley Community College. He was a truck driver and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather Olalde of Kewanee; 2 sons, Brandon Jackley of Nelson and Richard (Ashley) Jackley of Rock Falls; his parents, Melvin and Shirley Jackley of Sterling; 3 brothers, Jay Jackley of Rock Falls, Gary (Jill) Jackley of Sterling and Kenny (Sue Stewart) Jackley of Wenona; his grandchildren, Kali Jackley, Cylias Jackley, Bethany Olalde, Claire Olalde and Carsyn Jackley; step grandchildren, Addison Miller and Lilian Staranko.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday August 28, 2018 at 11 AM in Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls. Arrangements are through McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Falls.
