Diana Lynn Lucas Lauff, 72, of Sterling, died on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Rock River Hospice Home. Diana was born on November 7, 1948 in Prairie Du Chein, WI, the daughter of Francis L. and Elsie (Lund) Lucas. She married Timothy Lauff on June 29, 1968 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sterling. Diana was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sterling. She was employed at Sterling Steel Ball and also cleaned many homes in the area for more than 40 years.

Survivors include her husband, Timothy of Sterling; two sons, Paul Lauff of Sterling, and Jonathan (Lori) Lauff of Naperville; two sisters, Gwendolyn Lucas, and Rhonda Knowles-Lucas, both of Sterling; two grandchildren, Jonah and Jeremy; special cousin, Nick Lauff of Sterling; one uncle, Paul Lund of Sterling; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandmother, Bertha Whitehead.

Diana specialized in helping others, and she loved to spoil and support her two grandsons.

Cremation rites will be accorded. No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Rock River Hospice & Home, 2706 Avenue E, Sterling, IL 61081.
