Denny R. Rynders, 75, of Fulton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at home surrounded by his wife and children.

Born May 10, 1942 in Hull, Iowa he was a son of Peter and Ida (Bonnema) Rynders. He was united in marriage on July 31, 1964 to Kathy Schaver in Fulton. Denny was a self employed carpenter for 36 years until his retirement in 2007. Denny graduated from Western Christian High School in Hull, Iowa. He attended Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. He served on the Unity Christian School Board, helped with the founding of the high school, and was a member of 1st Congregational Church in Clinton where he served as choir director.

Denny enjoyed music and sung in the RiverChor in Clinton as well as the Dordt's Alumni Choir, also soloing in the Messiah both locally and in Northwest Iowa. He was active in the Fulton Dutch Days as a dancer. Denny was a bee keeper and also a volunteer for WCC. He was a very spiritual person always developing his personal relationship with the Lord. His children and grandchildren meant the world to hm.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Kathy, of Fulton; a daughter, Leah (Sean) Ivory of Grand Rapids, Mich. and their children, Emma, Samuel and Meredith; a son, Markk (Jodi) Rynders, of Loveland, Colo. and their children, Claryssa, Mitchell and Derrick; his sisters, Esther Oliver of Sioux Center, Iowa and Joyce Hughes of Norfolk, Neb.; his brothers, Peter (Berniece) Rynders of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Ron (Karen) Rynders of Sioux Center, Iowa; a brother in la, Pierce Feenstra of Norfolk, Neb. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Peter, a brother, Harold, a sister Mardelle and 4 nephews.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be at 2 PM Thursday, January 4th at 1st Congregational Church in Clinton with Pastor Karl Wolf, officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Unity Christian School or Hospice of the Rock River Valley in his memory.
