Debbie Kay (Rascoe) Kuehl, 69 of Sterling, passed away on Thursday May 16, 2019 at her home after a brief struggle with cancer.

She was born on March 31, 1950 in Sterling, the daughter of James Clyde and Jennalee (Rhode) Rascoe. She worked at Wahl Clipper, Inc; Woolworth; Sterling Public Schools; the House of Fabric; she spent time selling real estate; she sold Avon; but her favorite job was babysitting. Many of the children she watched and loved, remained a part of her life, even after they were grown and had children of their own.

Debbie was a long time member of Rock River Christian Center and loved Jesus as her Lord and Savior. One of her passions was singing and she sang for several years with the Rock River Quartet. She had many talents, which included sewing and mending for family and friends; crafting homemade cards to celebrate her loved ones birthdays; scrap booking; canning all the fruits and vegetables Bruce would bring home; this list could go on and on. Her favorite thing to do was to be a "Meme" and spend time with her five grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce; her daughters: Kendra (Jason) Hull and Heather Wright; her mother Jennalee Rascoe; her brother Don (Barb) Rascoe; her five grandchildren: Kolton Wright (Sarah McCallister), Jaxen Wright (Jarrica Thayer), Spencer Hull, Phinley Wright, Levi Hull and several nieces and nephews.
