TAMPICO – David A. Tabor, age 52, died at home on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
David was born on October 2, 1969 in Sterling the son of Jim and Patricia (Lego) Tabor. He was employed at Northwestern Steel and Wire for several years and the past 20 years as a Laborer with Labor Union Local 727 in Dixon. David enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his parents, Jim and Patricia Tabor of Rock Falls; one sister, Shelli (Scott) Silva of Rock Falls; two brothers, Michael R. (Renee) Tabor of Sterling and Chris (Penny) Tabor of Rock Falls; numerous cousins; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 PM Sunday at the McDonald Funeral Home in Sterling. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
