ROCK FALLS – Daniel Dugal Sr., age 71, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at CGH Medical Center, Sterling.
Daniel was born on September 9, 1945 in Waterville, Maine the son of Alyre and Francis (Veigue) Dugal. He married Patricia VonBank on August 5, 1970 in Elk Point, S.D. Daniel was employed as a Furnace Operator at Northwestern Steel & Wire, Sterling for 27 years retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Sterling,
Survivors include, his wife, Patricia Dugal of Rock Falls; one daughter, Lynn Dugal of DeWitt, Iowa; three sons, Daniel ( Marin) Dugal Jr. of Peoria, Patrick Dugal of Rock Falls and Matthew Dugal of Rock Falls; three sisters, Christine (Chuck) Wendler of Iowa City, Iowa, Pauline (Richard) Curry of Old Orchard Beach, Maine and Jeanine (John) Robinson of Waterboro, Maine; three brothers, Jerry (Sandy) Dugal of Lisbon, Maine, Bernard Dugal of Winslow, Maine and Conrad (Lyn) Dugal of Augusta, Maine.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Robert Dugal.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 2-4:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2017 at the McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls. Military rites will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. A short memorial motorcycle ride will follow after military honors.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
