Clell A. "Jake" Jaques, 72 of Woosung, died Monday November 5, 2018 at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling.

He was born on March 17, 1946 in Ashton, IL the son of Harold and Mae (Wendt) Jaques and was a 1964 graduate of Princeton High School. He married Sandra Lee Wise on September 19, 1965. Clell was a Viet Nam era veteran having served in the Army from October 29, 1965 to August 4, 1966. He was employed at Raynor Garage Door in Dixon for over 30 years. Clell was a member of Harvest Time Bible Church serving as an usher and volunteer. He was an avid golfer and a supporter and volunteer of the First Tee Program. Clell was a supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project.

Survivors include his four daughters: Kelly (Monte) Miller of Loves Park, IL, Karla Burnett of Oregon, IL, Kristie (Dennis) Jaques-Anglin of O'Fallon, IL and Keri (Travis) McGuire of Big Rock, IL; his companion, JoEllen Neubauer of Sterling; his sister, Lois (William) Appleman of Dixon; and his ten grandchildren: Mallory and Mason Miller; Cheyenne and Peyton Burnett; Captoria (Darrick) Clark, Logan Miller, Dante Anglin; Emily Miller; Ella and Elliot McGuire.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Edna (Sherman) Russell and his infant brother Gordon Jaques.

A gathering of friends and family will take place on Saturday November 10, 2018 from 1-2 PM at Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls. The memorial service will follow at 2 PM with the Reverend Dalmus Meeks officiating. Military honors will conclude the service.
