Charles H. Vos, 94, of Fulton, formerly of Albany, died on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Harbor Crest Nursing Home in Fulton.

He was born on September 15, 1923 in Galesburg, ND to Henry and Emma Vos. He married Lois Harvey on March 28, 1952 in Albany. She preceded him in death on March 25, 2016. He was a WW II veteran serving in the US Navy from 1944-1946. Charles farmed for many years retiring in January 1986. He was a member of Albany United Methodist Church and the Whiteside County Farm Bureau. Charles had the honor of participating in the honor flight.

Survivors include his daughters, Karen (Francis) Frederick, of Rock Falls, Marilyn (Gary) White, of Bettendorf, IA, LuAnn Vos, of Morrison, and Nancy (Tom) Hook, of Morrison; his sons, Raymond (Lisa) Vos, of Chadwick, and Randall (Deb) Vos, of Sterling; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Johnson and a brother, Richard Vos.

He also was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Judith Vos, his brothers, Martin, Emery, Harold and William Vos; a sister Evelyn; and 2 sisters in infancy.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 18th, from 9-11 AM at McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton. The funeral will follow at 11 AM with Mr. Bob Douglas, officiating. Burial will be at Lusk Cemetery in Albany.
