Sterling- Cecilia R. Tulini, 95, of Sterling, died on Saturday
morning, September 1, 2018 at her home.

She was born on January 31, 1923 in Sterling to Louis and
Alphonsine (Colin) Concotelli. She married Deno C. Tulini on
September 1, 1951 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling. He
preceded her in death on October 30, 2012.

Cecilia was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls
and past member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Upon
completing business school, she began her career as a secretary
at Parrish Alford. Cecilia left there to stay home to raise her
children, and dedicated her life to her vocation as wife and
mother. Her Catholic faith was the driving force in her vocation,
giving her children the gift of her faith and love of God. The heart
of her home was her kitchen where her children have fond
memories of her delicious Italian cooking, baking, and sharing of
daily activities. Cecilia was an active volunteer in her children's
schooling. She also loved gardening, sewing, playing cards, and
in her younger years was an avid bowler in her local league.
Participation in Mass and devotion to the Holy Rosary was a
consolation for Cecilia throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughters, Jane (Doug) Hall of St. Pete
Beach, Fla., Julie (Edward) Butterbaugh of Sugar Grove and Susan
(Kenneth) Beatty of Tierra Verde, Fla.; her sons, William (Susan)
Tulini of Hawthorne Woods and Robert Tulini of Chicago; several
grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her
parents, two sisters and a brother.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Thursday, September 6, 2018
with the Rosary recited at 4:45 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home
in Rock Falls. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be at
10 AM on Friday, September 7, 2018 at St. Andrew Catholic
Church in Rock Falls with Reverend Richard Russo and Reverend
Bruce Ludeke, con-celebrating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery,
Sterling. A memorial has been established in her
memory. To share condolences visit
