Brian L. Reed, 54 of Sterling died Monday January 20, 2020.
He was born on March 24, 1965 in Sterling the son of Lyle and Ann (Landis) Reed and was a graduate of Sterling High School. He married Diane G. Devers on November 30, 1985 in Rock Falls. Brian had worked at National Manufacturing and later Aztec. However his lifelong passion and pride was farming. He was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Diane; their son, Nathan Reed (Katelyn Ruyle) of Sterling; his parents, Lyle Reed (Stan Shippert) of Galena and Ann Reed (Bill Adams) of Venice, FL; his brother Mark (Ann) Reed of Burlington, VT.
He was preceded in death by his son Brandon Reed.
Visitation will be held on Friday January 24, 2020 from 10 – 12noon at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Sterling, The funeral will follow at 12noon. Burial will be private. Arrangements by McDonald Funeral Home.
