Beverly D. Jones Obituary

ROCK FALLS- Beverly D. Jones, 84, of Rock Falls died Friday, March 30, 2012 at CGH Medical Center.

Beverly was born July 5, 1927 in New Bedford the daughter of Henry C. and Emma (Baxter) Johnson. She married Vernon L. Jones on April 21, 1950. He died February 13, 1997. She was a member of Harvest Time Bible Church and a 29 year member of the Rock Falls American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are her sons, Steven D. (Joy) Near of Rock Falls, Gary A. (Debra) Jones of Sterling and Neil R. (Julie) Jones of Rock Falls; a sister Virginia (Duane) Wetzell of Glen Carbon; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents, a son Barry "Buddy", 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM Monday at McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls with Reverend Dalmus Meeks, pastor of Harvest Time Bible Church, officiating. Burial will be at Coloma Township Cemetery.
